With a new Indiana Jones adventure currently prepping, we’re all wondering what we can expect from it and now we have an idea.
Producer Frank Marshall has been talking about the movie and how far along it is in the planning stages, confirming that, firstly, unlike Crystal Skull, this adventure will once again see Indy crossing the
globe, rather than staying in the US.
He also confirms that he misses working with George Lucas and that “It’ll be a little different, because the ideas are coming from a different place now.”
So who all’s working on the script? “I dunno if you’d call it a writers room,” he said, “but a lot of people
that we trust pitch ideas and things. Gathering info.”
He also confirms that Solo’s Jonathan Kasdan is penning the movie, replacing Spielberg favourite David Koepp writer of Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
It is believed that this will be Harrison Ford’s final outing as Jones, but also that the franchise will continue… in some form.
Quick, get Shia LaBeoff on the phone!
Indiana Jones 5 will crack that whip once more on July 9th, 2021.
