Gaze on the majesty of LexCorp in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice UPDATED with pics of Superman’s statue

June 10th, 2014 by Marc Comments

Ok, so while we wait for the Wonder Woman reveal – there’s a lot of rumours that it may be today – we get a look at another big part of the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice… LexCorp

CBM have a picture of the outside of the LexCorp HQ in Metropolis (above) and, if you look closely, you can just about make out the large, blue X which we’re guessing is the LexCorp logo in the movie.

They also report that the pics of Superman’s costume that leaked a few weeks back aren’t in fact Superman’s new costume but rather seems to be a statue in his honour  after saving (?) Metropolis: “It’s not the new suit. It’s huge. Maybe 15 feet tall. Maybe more? It is standing on some steps that have been constructed. They look like the types of steps in front of a government building. They are concrete-ish in color. There isn’t a background, so I assume this will be green-screened and dropped into some other shot. It really looks like a large statue.”

Is it odd that I can imagine a statue of Supes REALLY getting under Lex’s skin…

Thoughts on the look of LexCorp and the logo? Let us know as perusual…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
