And yes, it’s 40 years old, but it’s a cult monster so why would anyone want to remake it?!
Well, it seems that Fox are planning a two hour event special which has a cast-contingent order: “That means that the project will go forward if the producers are able to get Fox’s approval on the casting choices.”
The project is being overseen by executive producer Gail Berman and Lou Adler, producer of the 1975 original. Kenny Ortega is also set to choreograph and direct the remake for Fox 21 TV Studios.
It seems that “the dialogue and the songs from The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be relatively intact, but the story will be “greatly reimagined… visually.””
