Exciting Ghostbusters news, gang!
It looks like the new Movie, previously called Ghostbusters 3 or Ghostbusters 2020, has an official title: Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
The title was speculated upon from an early stage as it was the shooting title for the movie, but now – according to the BBFC which has just rated the first trailer (here) – the movie is indeed called Afterlife.
This makes sense, given that the movie will likely pass the legacy on to the next generation of ‘Busters and may also have the late Harold Ramis’ character Egon involved in the story as a ghost (we’re hearing).
And as if that’s not enough, it seems that the movie’s first trailer is only days away!
Yes, we’re going to get a trailer for the movie we’ve waited 30 years for probably within the week!
How’s that for an early Christmas gift?
Director Jason Reitman has brought back Dan Ackroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts and – hopefully – Bill Murray along with newcomers Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, Logan Kim and Paul Rudd.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife arrives to save the world again in July 2020.
