Ok, so we’re all – mostly – against reboots, reimaginings and remakes, but we’re going to have to work out what a recalibration is before we form a proper opinion.

Although we fear that recalibration may just be the latest attempt at a new buzzword which means either reboot, reimagining or remake.

Whatever, it looks like Michael Myers is coming home again… for a minor recalibration. (Continues after pic).

(no, not him)

This latest take on the character will not be part of the originals or the Rob Zombie reboot. They will be a new take on the character: “Whatever it is, Melton and Dunstan should be suited to the task. The pair wrote four of the seven Saw movies (numbers IV to VII), Piranha 3DD as well as an adaptation of The Outer Limits, which is in development at MGM. “

Admit it, you’d rather see the other Mike Myers killing teens, right? Yeah, us too…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
