Has John Williams started scoring The Force Awakens?

June 3rd, 2015 by Dave Bowling Comments

Ladies and gentlemen, The Imperial March!

Yep, legendary composer of every piece of awesome Star Wars theme music, the one and only John Williams, is working on the score for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

At least, that’s what we think is happening. Maybe.

A post on the Facebook page of Scoring has claimed that the 82-year-old composer is in the studio at Sony.

However, there has been no announcement from Disney or Lucasfilm to corroborate this claim.

We’ll bring further news as and when we get corroboration; in the meantime, I’m tentatively getting my hopes up. Roll on December!

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is in cinemas from 18 December 2015
