Hello, what have we here? Lando Calrissian will be in the Han Solo movie?

August 12th, 2016 by Marc Comments

As soon as we knew a Han Solo movie was coming our minds were racing with ideas of what events it would cover or what familiar faces we’d see.

And we kept coming back to Lando Calrissian and how, by playing Sabaac, Han took the Falcon from him. We need to see that.

And now, if this is true, we may well get to see it.

Reports are coming in that Lando, originally played by Billy Dee Williams in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, is set for the new movie along with his favourite space pilot, Han solo.

And we love that!

Here’s our interview with Billy Dee for your viewing pleasure. (Continues after video)

While nothing is really known about the plot of the movie, we do know that Alden Ehrenreich is playing Solo, so we’re waiting to see who will play Lando.

We also know it will be directed by Jump Street and The LEGO Movie’s Phil Lord and Chris Miller, so we’re just getting more and more excited by the day!

Oh, and an added bonus, have an image of directors Lord and Miller sitting in Han’s favourite ship – and ours – The Milleniu Falcon.

Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
