We’ve known for some time now that Chris Hemsworth was part of the new Ghostbusters team; we’d been told he was the receptionist, Kevin… basically the Janine Melnitz of the new team (here) but it looks like his role is more significant.
The set picture from Boston sees Kevin on one of the Ecto-2 bikes in the movie, so we’re guessing he will be a Ghostbuster too at some point in the movie. Well, this will cause havoc with the sexists out there, huh?
What do yo all reckon, is there more to the role than we’re hearing?
Ghostbusters is written and directed by Paul Feig. It stars Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Melissa McCarthy and Leslie Jones. It also stars Chris Hemsworth, Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams, Matt Walsh and Neil Casey.
Ghostbusters is targeting a July 15, 2016 release.
