Is it weird that these images both excite and upset us?
We know that actor Alden Ehrenreich is playing Han Solo in the new standalone Star Wars movie but we also know that this means Harrison Ford is officially no longer solo.
And that sort of makes us sad.
But Ehrenreich is now the future of Han Solo in the Star Wars universe and now we have our first loon at him as Solo and, although he’s not wearing the signature white shirt and black waistcoat, he definitely looks the part.
The images are from the set of the movie and also feature vehicles and costumes from the new anthology movie.
Can anyone else possibly play Solo? We’ll all find out next Spring.
Alden Ehrenreich will star as Han Solo alongside Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Michael K. Williams, Ian Kenny, Warwick Davis and Emilia Clarke.
Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the Han Solo movie story arrives from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan. Slated for a May 25, 2018 release, the Han Solo movie will be executive produced by Lawrence Kasdan and Jason McGatlin and co-produced by Will Allegra.
