We already knew that the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel would have no Snow White but no it seems that it’s a prequel and therefore Dwarves will be thin on the ground too…
According to Empire, only two of the Dwarves will appear in the movie and this will be long before they ever met Snow White.
But who will be in it? Well, Bob Hoskins died late last year and apparently Nick Frost, Toby Jones and Eddie Marsan aren’t available during filming. Therefore, if original cast members return, it leaves Ian McShane, Ray Winstone, Johnny Harris and Brian Gleeson.
The rumoured plot will see the huntsman “on a quest to find the stolen magic mirror and going up against both Charlize Theron’s Ravenna and her evil snow queen sister, potentially to be played by Emily Blunt.” It may also detail how the Huntsman met first met Ravenna.
The sequel/prequel will be directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan for an April 22nd 2016 release.
