Crossovers, team-ups, “What-if?” battles, they’re the true desire of fanboys everywhere. Between movies, TV shows, and comics, there is no limit to the potential that can be had with superhero characters.
For X-Man Shawn Ashemore (who played Bobby Drake, aka Iceman), a crossover/team-up he would like to see is one that has honestly been in talks for a while now. He wants the X-Men to crossover with the Fantastic Four:
“Well, what I’m about to propose is not totally out of the realm of possibility because it’s the same studio, but I’m excited to see the new Fantastic Four. That’s what I really want to see, that’s what I’m really curious about.
I want to see that take on it. I think it would be dope to see a little crossover between the X-Men, maybe some Fantastic Four, maybe Bobby flying around with The Fantastic Four one of these days. That would be cool, wouldn’t it?”
Yes, yes it would, even if only on a fanboy level. With X-Men continuing on strong, and the reboot of Fantastic Four approaching, it honestly won’t take long to find out if this is possible.
