OK, I’m posting this, but I’m being open about if from the get-go… I’m not entirely convinced this is the real deal
With Space Jam 2 having finished filming last September, we expected leaks of some kind to find their way onto the interwebs and tonight, should it prove true, we have a doozy!
With rumours bouncing around that the movie will feature characters from all over the Warner Bros universe including Harry Potter, The Matrix and, em, A Clockwork Orange, it seems that someone claiming to have been involved in the movie’s production has leaked an image of three of Warners’ most famous masters of chaos: The Mask, Joker and Pennywise:
The poster claims that the image has Jared Leto’s Joker, IT’s Pennywise and Jim Carrey’s Mask although I doubt it’s the actors in the roles. The Mask is apparently the referee in the movie’s main game.
As I say, I can’t verify this but it could certainly be a cool little set of cameos if true… I mean, I heard Henry Cavill’s Superman may appear, so it seems nothing is off the table.
I want to hear your thoughts…
Space Jam 2 is expected to hit cinemas on July 16th, 2021.
It’s directed by Terence Nance and stars LeBron James, Don Cheadle and Sonequa Martin-Green.
