Indiana Jones 5 starts filming in two months confirms Harrison Ford

February 17th, 2020 by Marc Comments

Looks like it’s all systems go for the new Indiana Jones movie, folks.

With Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy confirming a couple of weeks ago that the new movie was a sequel and not a remake/reboot, fans have felt slightly less apprehensive about what’s to come… better than Crystal Skull, hopefully.

And now Indy himself, the awesome Harrison Ford has confirmed – see video below – when it’s filming.

“I’m gonna start doing Indiana Jones in about two months, I’m always delighted to come back to these characters,” the star says.

“When we have the opportunity to make another it’s because people have enjoyed them. I feel obliged to make sure that our efforts are as ambitious as they were when we started. You have a sense of responsibility to your customers.”

“I think of the people that go to my movies more as customers than I do as fans. Fans’ feels kind of weird to me, always has; but the fact that these people support my business and I’m responsible to them for the quality of the service that I offer, that feels better to me.”

Apart from Ford’s return, we know that David Koepp is writing and Steven Spielberg is directing, it’s also assumed that Indy’s son, Mutt, played by Shia LaBeouff in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will not be returning.

The movie is currently set for release on July 10th, 2021.

Honestly, as maligned as Crystal Skull was, I can’t help but be excited at the idea of Indy returning. What about yo all?
