We here at FTN have felt that, so far, Hulk – well, until Avengers – has had the short end of the stick regarding quality of movies and screen time. But it looks like that could be all about to change.
Over at Latino Review they have been teasing BIG Marvel movie news for a while and it looks like – as we reported right here in September – Marvel are looking at giving Hulk another standalone movie. And it may well be Planet Hulk. Which is a little awesome and, given the whole introduction of Gods and aliens into the franchise, we reckon it may actually work.
For those that don’t know, Planet Hulk sees Hulk sent off into space by the other heroes of earth because he’s just too dangerous. They send him to what they think is a deserted planet but it’s far from deserted and Hulk ends up becoming a gladiator fighting for the planet and his life, before he can get home to earth to get his revenge…
Sounds epic, right? Well, the story at the minute is that it won’t appear until Avengers Phase 3 and, all going to plan, will still feature Mark Ruffalo as Banner.
How reliable is this? Well, shortly after Avengers, Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige hinted that may be where it goes and Latino Review’s sources are on the money – they broke the Thanos at the end of Avengers news before anyone else came close.
Do we at FTN believe it? Frankly, yes… what do you guys think?
