IT sequel looking at casting two impressive names…

April 17th, 2018 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

As we have previously reported on the site the casting of the grown ups of the second half of the recent adaptation of Stephen King’s It is ramping up with Jessica Chastain likely to play the older Beverly (here).

Now it been has announced that more Hollywood big hitters, James McAvoy and Bill Hader are in talks to join the cast.

McAvoy is in line to play Big Bill Denbrough, the leader of the Losers Club, who was played by Jaeden Lieberher in the first chapter of the movies, while Hader is in line to play Richie “Trash Mouth” Tozier who was played by Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard.

Talks with McAvoy and Hader are in the preliminary stage and there is no guarantee that either will actually sign on to be in the movie but if this is the level of actor they are trying to cast in a horror movie the signs are that chapter 2 of IT is shaping up to be a good movie.
