So, for the fans anyway, the idea of Wolverine being in the Deadpool movie isn’t all that far out there… in fact, it sort of needs to happen.
But will it?
“God I hope so, that would be really nice,” says Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds.
“I dunno, we’ll see. It seems like he’s open to it, but it’s gonna be more of a scheduling issue than anything else.”
The thing is that even though Jackman previously confirmed that Wolverine 3 would be his last outing as the character (here), this movie would be out long before it, meaning he could appear and still stick to the original plan.
What do you all think? Would this be a great way to tie Deadpool into the X-Movies?
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool arrives in style on February 12th, 2016.
