So, this is confirmation we’re getting a Long Halloween movie trilogy right? Right? Hello…
It looks like Matt Reeves, director and writer of the upcoming The Batman movie(s) has cast another top notch actor in a pivotal role as The Big Lebowski and, em, Transformers star John Turturro has signed on to play crime boss Carmine Falcone.
Falcone is one of Batman’s first big cases when he puts on the cape and play a pivotal role in the epic The Long Halloween story which this movie is rumoured based on.
Turturro joins Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Paul Dano as Edward Nash/Riddler, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
That’s quite the cast, all things considered.
The Batman is scheduled to hit cinemas on June 25th, 2021.
