So last week Karl Urban got a great response when he threw down the gauntlet to Amazon and Netflix to get a Dredd TV series made (here).
And now it seems that (because of this?) things may actually be happening.
Talking at the Calgary Expo this weekend, people are reporting that Urban said talks ARE beginning to happen for a live-action Dredd TV series.
No more details are known but with Urban reporting it we’d have to imagine that he will be involved and, as such, the series will be part of the universe of the Dredd movie. Is it with amazon or Netflix? Not known right now but the flame of hope is lit once again over Meca City One.
And that’s just fine by us.
