Joss Whedon has written and directed some of our favourite things… but, believe it or not, he has unmade things lying around too and, not surprisingly, they are now hot commodities.
Well, now it seems that one of his unmade projects might have the big man himself, Liam Neeson attached.
According to Comicbook, Neeson has told Empire that “he’s agreed to star in a film called Suspension about a man hanging from New York’s George Washington Bridge. As the publication notes, that’s the title and premise of a spec script that Whedon sold in 1993… The lead character is a troubled cop-killer who gets involved in a Die Hard-style stand-off with terrorists that have put the bridge in danger. He shimmies up and down and around and scoots about and takes control of the bridge and saves the day.”
This sounds like it just might be the best thing ever or is there a chance that Joss wasn’t always a genius? Nah, we don’t think so either. In Joss we trust…
More if we hear it…
