Get ready for the new daily show

Loads of rumours about what’s next for the MCU… including a Wolverine TV Series?!

Loads of new leaks and rumours about what’s next for the MCU have appeared online.

Now, we much stress that there’s no proof for any of this, but sometimes it’s just fun to get conversation going.

Word is that after Avengers: Endgame the MCU will evolve (see what we did there) into something different, with the movies and the Disney+ streaming service serving as the home for the world.

It seems that there will be two main streams of movies/shows: The Street Level stuff ie spider-man, Captain Marvel, and the Cosmic Level: is Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor, The Eternals.

Although, we would speculate that, if the rumours about Black Widow being the MCU’s first r-rated movie, them we may also see a more adult line of contend that, unlike the Netflix shows, will still be in-universe. To us, this would be a great way to bring back Punisher and Daredevil from the Netflix universe and keep it dark but keep it relevant.

Alongside this, the rumour suggests that The Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom will be the link between the cosmic and street movies – this actually makes sense, although Dr Strange and Captain Marvel could also fit in there.

On top of that, it seems that rather than the movies leading into each other as has been the predominant way of doing them so far, the phases will be gone and the movies will include prequels, sequels, standalones and even movies set in the future.

“Spider-Man: Far From Home will kick off the main story arc for the street level side. The overarching villain will be Norman Osborn. Big storylines will be Dark Avengers, Dark Reign and Siege.”

We actually can see this happening.

One more rumour we’re hearing is that Wolverine is no longer Hugh Jackman – it’s time to let that go, guys. Sadly – but instead Marvel plan on casting a new actor and re-introducing the character in his own series on Disney+.

A bold move… but who on earth could play Wolverine!?

We want to hear your thoughts on all of the above, gang.
