More news from the Fast & Furious universe tonight as Hobbs & Shaw finishes up its first weekend on release.
Star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has shared a post from Vulture in which they try to work out who owns the villainous voice behind the Eteon organisation in the movie.
Johnson says in his Tweet: “The person has history with Hobbs. It’ll be revealed in the sequel. Get ready, you’ll be shocked.”
On first reading I assumed this meant the character has already been in the franchise but on further reading, it doesn’t necessarily mean that…
However, the big news seems to be that the star has pretty much confirmed that a sequel – as expected – is on the fasttrack.
While I didn’t love the movie as much as I hoped, the news of the new cast (here) and the big tease at the end has held my attention enough to stick around for part 2.
