M Night Shyamalan set for low-budget horror…

November 13th, 2014 by Marc Comments

We know that M Night Shyamalan hasn’t had the best time in the last few years. But his movies Signs and Unbreakable still rest on our list of favourite movies.

And for that reason we still have faith that he can hold his own yet. He just needs to get that right movie again…

Den Of Geek are reporting that his next movie will be a low-budget horror called The Visit: “Previously known as Sundowning. He’s made the movie for Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Pictures, and according to the press announcement, it’s the story of a brother and sister who are sent to their grandparents’ remote house for a week long trip. Unfortunately, those grandparents are involved in something presumably with horror tones to it, and the children just might not be getting home.”

It will be released by Universal and Kathryn Hahn will star. Expect to see it on September 11th, 2015.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
