It looks like the cast of Indiana Jones 5 is well under way to being filled out as two big names have signed on in the last few days.
First up, Fleabag and Solo: A Star Wars Story star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, left, has joined the production in a mystery role and joining her is Hannibal and Star Wars: Rogue One star Mads Mikkelsen, top, also in a mystery role – although we here at FTN HQ are prepared to bet he’s going to have a link to Jones through a character in one of the previous movies… but we’re not saying who.
In case we’re wrong.
The movie will be the first in the series not directed by Steven Spielberg and will, instead, be helmed by Logan’s James Mangold who is co-writing the script with Jez and John-Henry Butterworth.
The movie will kick off filming in the next couple of months, with a July 29th, 2022 release date being the goal.
