MAJOR SPOILERS!

It looks like there are major changes ahead for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with rumours swamping the Internet about the possible casualties in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War. It now looks like a major spoiler could have been released, suggesting fatal consequences for some of our heroes.

With the news last week that Civil War co-director Joe Russo was hinting at big changes when it comes to some of the heavy hitters in the MCU, it’s no surprise that the rumours of major deaths are flying.

In a recent video, The Hashtag Show (via Squareeyed) are claiming that three more death scenes have been shot for Cap’s latest outing. Though there’s no need to panic just yet that this is some sort of cull, because it seems to be the case that they have been filmed to act as misdirection.

The rumour goes that the fatal scenes filmed are for Falcon (Anthony Mackie), War Hammer (previously going by the name War Machine, played by Don Cheadle) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).

This is not a new tactic for Marvel, as multiple death scenes were filmed for Avengers: Age Of Ultron; in one version Hawkeye was killed, whereas in the other, it was Quicksilver. This was the scene that was ultimately chosen, but could it be that we see a number of deaths in Civil Warafter all?

The source also claims that this character’s death scene occurs following another character getting seriously wounded in the middle of the movie. Could it be that the trailer shot featuring Iron Man holding a fallen War Hammer is there to throw us off the scent?
