When Suicide Squad was announced to be the second movie in DC’s new movie slate, one of the first questions asked was, “Is Harley Quinn going to be on the team?”

Though the character has not been on the Suicide Squad very long, the character is beloved by fans, so her inclusion was beloved nearly in an instant. When confirmation came that Harley Quinn not only would be in the film, but would be played by Margot Robbie, fans were again excited. But how does the actress herself feel about the role?

“Yeah, I guess it’s intimidating because there’s obviously a lot of people I want to please, and a character I have to do justice,” Robbie said in an interview. “But it’s a challenge, I’m definitely up for it, and hopefully I don’t disappoint.”

Another fan question is which outfit Robbie would be wearing in the Suicide Squad film. Harley has had numerous outfits throughout her time in the comics, movies, and games. So…which one will be in Suicide Squad?

“We haven’t gotten too far into it, we’re still pretty far off…” Robbie continued. “I’m actually shooting a movie before that, so my focus is kind of on that at the moment, we haven’t really gotten into the logistics of everything yet.”

Oh well, we’ll hopefully find out soon. Especially since filming is set to start in April!

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
