James Gunn hit the big time in 2014 when his adaptation of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy broke big and went from obscure comic book to one of the biggest and best movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Since then, Gunn has amassed a large social media following and become one of the de facto voices of fanboys and fangirls in this and every other galaxy… and it now appears he has a new BFF in none other than Mark Hamill, better known as Cocknocker from Jay and Silent Bob Strike back, the Joker from Batman the Animated Series and some obscure space opera called Star Wars.
Gunn, who lives near Hamill in Malibu, was asked by a fan if he would consider casting Mark Hamill in the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie:
Could Mark Hamill be set for another galaxy far, far away? We certainly hope so…
If there is a God, please let her make this happen.
