Mark Wahlberg is back for Transformers 5… yay.

December 16th, 2015 by James Campbell Comments

The Transformers, like it or not, are one of the biggest blockbuster franchises, at this time. The films have made an incredible amount of money for Paramount, through all four instalments.

Based on all of this, it is easy to see why Paramount would want to keep the franchise going. and just today we found out that they have massive plans for the future of the franchise and so much more, so we have known for a while that more films were coming, but now we learn that Mark Wahlberg will be returning in the next entry. In Age of Extinction, Wahlberg played Cade Yeager, a Texas inventor and mechanic who was also very protective of his daughter, Nicola Peltz’s Tessa Yeager.

As of this moment in time, very little is known about what will happen in the film, much less what Wahlberg’s role in it will be. Personally, I have no opinion on this piece of news, until further information is revealed.

My name is James and I am a long time fan of Movies, TV and Comics. I am currently a student, wrapping up my education at Aberystwyth University. I have an undergraduate degree in film and television and I’m working on my Masters in scriptwriting. My personal favourite comic character is the Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), and I view the film adaptation as one of the most horrifying experiences I have had in a movie theatre. As far as film and television go, I am usually willing to give any genre a try, as long as the project is well executed.
