It looks like Marvel are close to signing a very interesting choice to direct Thor’s third big screen outing.
Taika Waititi, director of Flight of the Conchords and What We Do in the Shadows is currently in talks with Marvel to direct Thor: Ragnarok.
It seems that other choices were Zombieland’s Ruben Fleischer, We’re The Millers’ Rawson Marshall Thurber and Goosebumps’ Rob Letterman. If he gets the gig he’ll join Kenneth Branagh and Alan Taylor as a Thor director.
We’ll keep you posted if he signs on the dotted line…
Marvel Studios will release Thor: Ragnarok on November 3, 2017 in 3D/2D theaters and IMAX.
