To everyone worried that Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters remake will be a complete and total fustercluck, fear not! Melissa McCarthy has chosen a wig for the movie.
In what may well be the single least inspiring piece of news to ever crawl out of Tinseltown, the Washington Post reported this week that the actress has seen a hairpiece that she feels is perfect for her character. Apparently she is excited about the start of filming, stating: “I’m wildly excited about it. I’ve already sent Paul a picture of my wig. I start everything with a wig.”
She also spoke about reuniting with co-star and all-round funny woman Kristen Wiig, stating that the script (such as it is at the moment – see here) had them laughing: “It’s just so awesome. I saw her recently and we were reading through the script. She’s truly one of the funniest and nicest women I have ever met in my life.”
So, seems she’s excited about the movie. That makes one of us at least.
