Ok, I admit it, I liked Men In Black III. Falling somewhere between MiB and MiB2 as far as quality goes, it was a fun, but forgettable, romp.
Well it seems, according to Superherohype, that with a worldwide boxoffice topping $624million, Sony Pictures are keen to get Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith back for a forth movie and have hired Oren Uziel who worked on web series Mortal Kombat: Rebirth and the upcoming Aliens vs zombies, humans and vampires flick The Kitchen Sink, to pen the movie. He’s also working on 21 Jump Street 2. Busy guy.
Now, while nothing has been confirmed yet, it seems the rumours are that director Barry Sonnenfeld will be directing for the fourth time. Also, comingsoon chatted with Smith during the press tour for MiB3 about playing the part again and he seemed keen: “We’ll have to see what people say. If there’s a good reaction to this movie, it’s not something I would be against. Hopefully we’re not going to keep the same pattern. It was five years between the first and second and ten years between the second and third. That would be twenty years. I’ll be 63 years old. It’s just not a good look.”
What say you guys? Do we want another MiB? And am I the only one who wants to see Josh Brolin return?
