With Dexter over and given a terrible ending that was nowhere near befitting such a gamie changing TV series, Micheal C Hall has been a pretty quiet guy. And then a couple of weeks ago these rumours arrived that he was being considered for therole of Matt Murdock/Daredevil in Marvel’s upcoming live-action TV series. And, personally, I was delighted. He’s the right age and has a great physical presence and he can play light-hearted and threatening…
However, talking to Vulture, he said: “I’ve heard them, but I think that’s all they are – rumors. Don’t misunderstand, I would definitely consider it … but I can’t tell you any inside information, because I think they’re nothing but rumors… I’m committing to things that have a foreseeable end in sight when I start them, but I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of [a new series] happening at some point. But I’d have to read the script!”
Marvel, if you are reading this, yes, he’s the man for this role. Trust us.
