My Little Pony movie and Woody Allen’s Cafe Society get release dates…

Lionsgate Pictures has officially set the dates for the My Little Pony Movie and Woody Allens new Café Society.

This news now means that the My Little Pony Movie is set for release on 6th October 2017, a month before it was originally planned.

Woody Allen’s Café Society will also be given a limited released on 15th July, then an extended release on 22nd July, before a wide release on the 29th… we don’t know why either.

My Little Pony begins with the emergence of a new threat. As a dark force threatens Ponyville, the Mane 6 must embark on a journey beyond Equestria to use the magic of friendship to save their home.

Jayson Theissen is directing with Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis producing. Kristin Chenoweth, Tara Strong, Cathy Weseluck, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain and Ashleigh Ball will be voicing the Mane 6. Emily Blunt will also be joining the cast as a brand new character.

Café Society offers up a romantic comedy set in 1930’s shot on location in New York and Los Angelis. The film bosts an all star cast of, Steve Carell, Jesse Eisenberg, Corey Stoll, Jeannie Berlin, Parker Posey, Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively and Ken Stott. The film will be written and directed by Allen.
