New cast, images and synopsis for Bill & Ted Face The Music

July 6th, 2019 by Marc Comments

I can’t believe we’re this far on but tonight I have news of new cast members, firs images and an official synopsis of Bill & Ted Face The Music!

Honestly, this felt like a movie we’d never see happen but here we are… and it’s most excellent!

So, the movie is currently filing in LA and at the bottom of the page you’ll see the first images of Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves (without a beard!!!) as the titular heroes who look a little older but still awesome!

On top of that, here’s the first synopsis:

With the fabric of time and space tearing around them, a visitor from the future warns the duo that only their music can save life as we know it. Out of luck and inspiration, Bill and Ted set out on another time-travel adventure — with the help of their daughters, a new crop of historical figures and some sympathetic music legends — to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe as we know it.

Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest, RED 2) is directing while Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, writers of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey are penning the script.

Bill & Ted Face the Music’ will release August 21, 2020.

But that’s far from all the news.

Along with returning stars Winter and Reeves, Hal Landon Jr returns as Captain Jonathan Logan, Ted’s dad along with Amy Stoch as Missy Preston, Bill’s (probably) stepmother.

They’ll be joined by William Sadler as Death and newcomers Beck Bennett as Deacon Logan, Ted’s younger brother (he was in the other movies played by Frazier Bain), Parks and Recreation’s Erinn Hayes as Princess Elizabeth, Ted’s wife and Glee’s Jayma Mays as Princess Joanna, Bill’s wife.

And the previously announced Anthony Carrigan as the villain, Brigette Lundy-Paine as Billie Logan, daughter of Ted and Samara Weaving as Thea Preston, daughter of Bill.

However, very excitingly, the late George Carlin will appear as Rufus thanks to achieve footage of the star.

Holy crap this is going to be awesome!

Oh, here’s the images of the titular heroes:

Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
