New image reveals three more cast members for X-Men Days of Future Past

March 17th, 2013 by Marc Comments

OK, we were going to hold this back for our picture round-up later in the week but dammit! It’s just too good…

X-Men Days Of Future Past director Bryan Singer, like so many others, loves Twitter and tweeting little images, snippets and teases. And his latest one is a beauty.

The image (above), tweeted on Friday, is from his office wall and show’s the actors’ headshots of the principal X-Men from the new movie/sequel/prequel.

However the cast pic shows a few new faces: We already know about  Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy and Halle Berry but the image also shows Daniel Cudmore, who played Colossus in X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand as well as Twilight actor Boo Boo Stewart who will be playing an as yet unknown character and Battle of the Warriors actress Fan Bingbing who will play blink, a teleporting mutant.

The six empty slots are still anyone’s guess although Alan Cumming is still rumoured to return as Nightcrawler for Singer’s movie.

X-Men: Days of Future Past opens on  July 18, 2014

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
