Lionsgate has released a couple new posters for the highly anticipated film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. As you can see the posters are celebrating the victory tour of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson).
The poster came with the following note,
“The Capitol proudly announces the victors of the 74th annual Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen & Peeta Mellark, as they embark on this year’s Victory Tour!”
Official synopsis:
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
The movie was directed by Francis Lawrence and also stars Elizabeth Banks, Sam Clafin, Lynn Cohen, Meta Golding, Bruno Gunn, Woody Harrelson, Liam Hemsworth, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Maria Howell, Toby Jones, Lenny Kravitz, E. Roger Mitchell, Jena Malone, Amanda Plummer, Alan Ritchson, Stephanie Leigh Schlund, Patrick St. Espirit, Donald Sutherland, Stanley Tucci and Jeffrey Wright.
The movie will be released in theaters and IMAX on November 22nd, 2013.
