Yet another casting rumor from behind the scenes of the Suicide Squad movie. With Tom Hardy out, and Jake Gyllenhaal passing on Rick Flag, we now have two more possible replacements.
Joel Edgerton and Jon Bernthal are up for the role of the commander of the Suicide Squad. Edgerton actually worked with Hardy on Warrior, while Bernthal is known for his role as Shane on Walking Dead.
But wait! That’s not all! Joe Magliano is apparently in the running to be cast as none other than Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke. Will he be on the team as well??? Maybe an adversary? OR BOTH?!?!?
Again, these are only rumors, and we’ll probably get more until the cast is firmly set, which will hopefully be soon.
