It’a all about the X-Men at the minute, isn’t it? With Deadpool, X-men: Apocalypse and Gambit all on the horizon?
Well, remember a while back we reported that Patrick Stewart would not be back for Apocalypse (here)? Well, he may not be out of the franchise altogether.
Talking to Oregon Live, Sir Patrick has been talking about his X-Men future: “What I’m very excited about is that we have been talking about a Wolverine movie, which would team Hugh Jackman and myself – Wolverine and Professor Xavier. That would be a very different sort of X-Men from the four movies that I’ve already done.”
But wait, he also contradicted his earlier comments saying that older Magneto, Ian McKellan, would not be in Apocalypse: “Magneto, Ian McKellen, is certainly going to be in it,” he clarified.
X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 26th, 2016 while Wolverine 3 is set for release on March 3rd, 2017 (continues after pic)…
Meanwhile, on a similar topic, Bryan Singer has shared two hints about X-Men: Apocalypse…
