Sometimes, the transition from rumor to confirmation is really quick. In this case, a few days.
Recently, it was rumored that The Lego Movie directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were in the running to direct the upcoming DC Comics movie adaptation of Flash. Now, we have confirmation via Deadline that at the very least, the duo will be writing the movie.
Whether they direct or not is uncertain as of yet, but things could definitely swing that way.
