Oooooh… this is exciting news.
It seems that fellow countryman Pierce Brosnan has signed on to the Black Adam movie to play major DC character Dr Fate and, honestly, this is very exciting news.
This is the first time in his career that Brosnan has dipped his toes into the superhero stream.
This means that the Justice Society of America has been rounded out in the movie, joining Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.
In the movie Brosnan will be Kent Nelson, the son of a famous archaeologist who becomes a sorcerer and inherits the Helmet of Fate, making him one of DC’s most powerful, magical characters.
This is great news and means that Black Adam will have a very different flavour than other DC movies, putting it in a period that has yet to be explored on the big screen.
