So, if you’re – like me – counting down the days until not only lockdown is over but until August when we finally see the return of the most bodacious timetravelling duo ever, Bill S Preston Esq and Ted Theodore Logan AKA Bill and Ted.

But to help pass the time Orion Pictures have released some timely colouring in pages for you to print out and, well, colour in to help pass the time and also to pick up some good tips on how to behave in lockdown… call your friends, wash your hands and, of course, be excellent to each other.

Bill & Ted Face the Music sees the most triumphant return of the duo for the first time in thirty years and, honestly, I can’t wait.

And yes, I will be colouring these in. Deal with it.

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter return for the trilogy closer along with William Sadler as Death and, as if that’s not enough, it is written by the first two movies’ writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.

Most excellent? Most.

“The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan.  Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will find help from their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.”

Bill & Ted Face the Music is directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest), and is set to hit theaters on August 21st.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
