Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight teaser trailer to be exclusive to Sin City cinema run

August 15th, 2014 by Andrew McCarroll Comments

With early buzz about Sin City: A Dame to Kill For being worryingly negative, Quentin Tarantino has stepped up for his friend Robert Rodriguez in a big way. The trailer for Tarantino’s upcoming western The Hateful Eight will be exclusively played before the sequel to the 2005 hit. The trailer will not be made available online and will not be shown before any other cinema release.

Exactly what the teaser will entail is being kept under wraps, but considering the film is not due to begin filming until early November it’s unlikely we will see much more than a voiceover trailer. Or perhaps a video of the director blasting script leaks that plagued the on/off/on again production for the trailer’s scheduled 1:40 run time. The movie stars Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Kurt Russell among others in scheduled for a release in 2015.
