With the upcoming release of the Expendables III, word is beginning to spread about who might be in the spinoff “The Expendabelles”. Well if the main man Sly Stallone has anything to say about it, he wants one of the original femme fatales in the movie.
That’s right, he wants Sigourney Weaver in the movie according to Dark Horizons. Saying, “”With The Expendabelles we’ve got a situation where we’re in unchartered waters. Do we put all women actresses together, would that really work? Or do we have some women who are actually really known to be tough fighters?”
Well we know that Weaver is tough, but does that mean she’ll be in the movie and fighting like Stallone does in his series? Sly notes that the movie could feature Weaver being Barney’s (Stallone’s character) ex-wife who gets half of the Expendables in the divorce. That sounds fun.
Wishful thinking or a tease of what’s to come, we’ll let you know when anything is confirmed.
