Ok, this just got more interesting. After stepping down as director, it was reported Robert Orci’s script for Star Trek 3 would still go forward, now it appears that’s not the case.
Orci himself told fans about his role in the picture, and it’s very limited.
“I’m producing, [nothing] more or less,”
This could create a huge problem for the film, which is slated to release in 2016. Cause if the plot cannot be finalized soon, production will have to be pushed back. No word on what the plan is to rectify this situation.
