Rosario Dawson confirms she’s not in The Punisher but still wants that Star Wars gig…

April 23rd, 2017 by Marc Comments

We reported a while ago that Rosario Dawson has expressed interest in playing Ashoka Tano if he was ever called for in a live-action Star War movie (here) and, frankly, we think she’d knock that out of the park.

Now the actress, talking to Good Morning America, has said that the fans are really getting behind here appearing in Star Wars and it’s something she would love to do (below).

Wether it’s Ashoka or not, we would love to see her in a Star Wars movie as she’s a superb actress and we could see her in a strong role in the galaxy far, far away very easily.

The actress has also just confirmed she’s not going to be appearing in Netflix’s upcoming The Punisher series as Claire Templeton as she is too busy, so we’re wondering if she’s push it all aside for Star Wars?: “For The Defenders, it was difficult to get everybody together. People are busy! There are so many times where I really want it to happen. I really wanted to do a cameo on The Punisher, but it doesn’t always work that way.”

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
