Samuel L Jackson and Cobie Smulders are in Spider-man: Far From Home

Could the confirming of two returning MCU characters shine new light on the storyline for Spider-man: Far From Home?

Samuel L Jackson and Cobie Smulders are in Spider-man: Far From Home as Nick Fury and Marie Hill despite having, like Spider-man himself, been ‘killed’ by Thanos’ finger snap at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.

For a long time now the rumour mill has been pondering if the Far From Home title refers to Spider-man being last seen on Titan, home planet of Thanos. But now, if he meets Fury and Hill, does that perhaps mean that some of the dead characters will meet up in the movie?

Look, no-one REALLY believes all those heroes are dead. Em, do they?

It’s interesting too because fans of Ultimate Spider-man will know that Fury plays a big part in Spider-man’s world in that version of the tale, so maybe we’ll get a taste of that in the movie?

Are you excited to see Hill and Fury playing a bigger role in the MCU again? We’ve seen them in Infinity War, we know Fury will feature in Captain Marvel… so where it goes from here?

Who knows.
