E! News online recently produced a video (below) interviewing Scott Eastwood, son of the legendary Clint Eastwood, about his new movie Suicide Squad, set for release in 2016.

Scott, whose character in the film still remains a mystery, noted how demanding the filming is being: “[We’re] doing a lot of our own stunts, really physical”

He also noted how director, David Ayer whose previous credits include Fury, is a very physical film maker. “He wants everyone to do their own stuff and he doesn’t hire guys who aren’t willing to do that”

There are clearly exceptions to this rule likely given the nature of the stunt. This shot of a ‘stunt bat’ on the set of Suicide Squad is not Ben Affleck (here) but a stunt double in his place riding on a car driven by Jared Leto (who plays The Joker in the film).

On being asked what it was like to see Let as the Joker Scott expressed his fear he felt towards him: “I was sort of afraid to approach him… But I knew him before; I met him before he was The Joker. I just met him as Jared Leto. So I didn’t want to mess with his thing”.

Suicide Squad is set for release in the summer of 2016 and includes an all star cast including Jared Leto, Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Ben Affleck.
