Finally, the shelved and then saved Coyote Vs Acme live-action/animated movie from Warner Bros has a release date!
The movie, back in 2023, was made for HBO, but Warner decided at the 11th hour that they would be focusing more on theatrical movies and so, they pulled the plug on director Dave Green’s movie. Then, in March last year, American film distribution company Ketchup Entertainment stepped in and made a deal with Warner to distribute the movie.
And here we are.

Taking to the stage at SDCC, star of the movie Will Forte officially announced that Coyote Vs Acme would arrive in cinemas on August 28th, 2026.
Forte will star alongside the likes of Bugs Bunny, John Cena, Daffy Duck, Lana Condor and more.
Many hoped that something similar would happen to the Batgirl movie starring Michael Keaton’s Batman, which was cancelled around the same time; however, Warner Bros made sure that one would never see the light of day. Crazy.
Will you be heading to see this one next August? Let me know…
