As Sony Pictures continue to try to get the He-Man movie made, it looks like they’re closing in on a director.

The (second) live-action version of the 1980s cartoon series could be directed by… McG.

Yup, the director of Charlie’s Angels and Terminator Salvation may bring Prince Adam, Skeletor, Castle Greyskull and the residents of Eternia to the big screen.

This movie has been in development hell for years, so we’re not holding out for this to be a done deal anytime soon, but we’re holding on to the belief that McG may have a great movie in him. It might even be He-Man.

It’s likely that Sony are looking to hire him as he was the one who brought Charlie’s Angels back with them.

What say you all? Is McG the man for the gig? Let us know.
