SPOILERS: Massive cameo appearance on Crisis On Infinite Earths links Arrowverse to the movie universe

Holy hell!

Well, it’s something I have been anticipating for quite a few years – before Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice released, in fact and last night we finally saw it happen.

Ezra Miller, the Flash/Barry Allen of the DC Movie universe appeared in The CW’s Crisis On Infinite Earths event, alongside TV Flash/Barry Allen, Grant Gustin.

And, yes, it was pretty special.

Few things worth noting here too… the movie Flash apparently got his name from the TV Flash (remember, at no point in the movies was he called The Flash) – this happened in the comics with Barry and Jay Garrick, so calm down – and movie flash mentions Victor… this is a nod to Victor Stone AKA Cyborg!

And I love this!

So, this the Crisis event now wrapped on The CW (here’s our review), DC’s Tv and movie universe has done the unthinkable and linked everything together, going back as far as Batman ’66.

Clearly, folks at Warners are having a discussion about fun stuff to do with the DC brand and tying it all together like this is unprecedented and, honestly, even just a couple of years ago would have been unthinkable.

Love it or hate it, you have to admire the balls on The CW.

Well played.
