So we know that the big bad in the upcoming Justice League movie is set to be Steppenwolf, general of the armies of Darkseid.

And he’s set to be played by Irish actor Ciaran Hinds (here).

We’ve already seen Steppenwolf in the DC Cinematic Universe in the deleted (then reinstated in the Ultimate Edition) scene below:

Now the guys over at Batman-Online have gotten their hands on images of an action figure two set featuring Batman and, you guessed it, Steppenwolf! The images were taken by reader Hank Thomas Pezer at a California Kmart.

While the toys look pretty basic, we’re guessing it’s giving us a decent idea of how the character will look in the movie.

Check them out below and let us know what you think…

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

JUSTICE LEAGUE is released November 17, 2017.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
